In 2013, I won a CARE Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Centre for Advanced Research on English in the Department of English Language and Applied Linguistics at the University of Birmingham (UK). In the course of my career, I also worked as Associate Professor at the University of Ostrava (Czechia), as Research Associate (casual employment) at Aston University in Birmingham (UK), and as Corpus Linguist (full-time scientific-technical position) at the University of Lodz (Poland). In 2019, I was a visiting researcher at the University of Birmingham funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), where I conducted independent collaborative research. Since November 2020, I have been a member of Editorial Board of English for Specific Purposes. I am also an external collaborator of Computational Linguistics Committee at the Polish Academy of Sciences.
